In its second Playa run, Sustainabilaville exceeded expectations in both size and performance. Yes, Sustainabilaville's inhabitants managed to outdo themselves once again and create one kickass sustainability themed camp. The 26’ tower combined with a shade area to rival center camp and enough couches and chairs to comfortably seat a Brazilian marching band added up to create a welcoming space that got plenty of use. The 24 people who camped with us this year all met the challenge of living sustainably in community in one of the harshest environments any of us will see all year. Well done Sustainabilavillans. Well done indeed.
Only a year left until the next Burn. What ever will our group of hard working, monkey throwing, cookie baking, cross-dressing, hammock swinging, stripper pole dancing, hug giving group of ‘Villans come up with next year? Tingle, tingle, squish!

On May 30th a contingent of Sustainabilavillans gathered to picnic and relive a very special playa experience. We got re-playafied. No one walked away without a little dusty love. Not even the poor family and their suv sadly parked in our dusty path. The playa doth not discriminate!
