This year we've decided to venture our beyond the comfy border of the Alternative Energy Zone. We are a bit like the teenager looking to move into that room above the garage. The AEZ Mayor, like a supportive parent, has given us his blessing and encouraged us to stay close and keep in touch. This year we are becoming a Sustainabilavillage.

When registering for placement we requested a location across the street from the AEZ and about 150'x130' of space. This should be plenty for the 55-60 people we expect in our village. If all goes well, we will be a green village extension of the AEZ family and will still be on the AEZ daily tour.

In other news, we've decided we are doing an art installation on the playa (more info to come) and what our daily offering will be. This year the solar cookies will come back X 3. We're going to add a couple more solar cookers and the ability to brew large batches of yerba mate. Afternoon mate tea and solar cookies from 2-4pm!
